The Spectranet Data Plans & Prices (2023) Are Unbelievable

Spectranet data plans, bundle, subscriptions and prices this year are unbelievably cheap in comparison to what’s out there in way of competition.

If there’s one thing we struggle with in this country, it’s expensive data. Speaking of which, I was madly furious with all MTN Data plans last month for always finishing too quickly.

It was as if it was a deliberate sabotage they used to get us to buy more and more, never getting enough.

For the record, i haven’t used any of the Spectranet data plans before. I however am able to compare what they offer vis a vis competitors like Wifi.ng, Ntel, IPNX and others to get a pretty good idea of which company offers the best bang for your buck.

Spectranet offers a range of 6 data plans which are:

1. Unified Value Plans
2. Mega Values Plans
3. Always On Plans
4. Night Plans
5. Data Boosters-Top Ups
6. Weekly Plan

Let’s dissect each of them one by one, shall we?

#1. Unified Value Plans

The Unified Value Plans are divided into 6 tiers with varying price ranges and data allowances:

• Unified Value 8gb: 4gb anytime data + 4gb night data bonus (N3,000/month)
• Unified Value 10gb: 5gb anytime data + 5gb night bonus (N3,500/month)
• Unified Value 14gb: 7gb anytime data + 7gb night bonus (N5,000/month)
• Unified Value 24gb: 12gb anytime data + 12gb night bonus (N6,000/month)
• Unified Value 30gb: 15gb anytime data + 15gb night bonus (N7,000/month)

Terms and Conditions

• Night bonus is from 1am to 7am
• Bonus data cannot be rolled over to the next month.

#2. Mega Values Plans

The Spectranet Mega Value Plans are divided into 3 tiers with varying price ranges and data allowances:

• Mega Value 25gb: 25gb anytime data + free unlimited night browsing (N10,000/month)
• Mega Value 40gb: 40gb anytime data + free unlimited night browsing (N12,500/month)
• Mega Value 60gb: 60gb anytime data + free unlimited night browsing (N15,000/month)

• Free unlimited night browsing is from 1am to 7am
• Bonus data cannot be rolled over to the next month.
• All Nite Plans have 24 hours access on weekend and Public Holidays.
• Night Bonus browsing is between 1am to 7am

#3. Always On Plans:

The Spectranet Always On Plans are divided into 5 tiers with varying price ranges and data allowances:

• Always On 50gb: Free Unlimited Night Browsing + Always On @512 kbps speed (N13,000/month). For some reason, its only available to Abuja only.
• Always On 100gb: Always On @512 kbps speed (N18,000/month).
• Always On 100gb: Free Unlimited Night Browsing + Always On @512 kbps speed (N19,500/month).
• Always On 200gb: Free Unlimited Night Browsing + Always On @512 kbps speed (N37,500/month).
• Always On 300gb: Free Unlimited Night Browsing + Always On @512 kbps speed (N55,500/month).

#4. Night Plans:

Also called the Unified Value Nite plan, the Spectranet Night Plans are divided into 2 tiers with varying price ranges and data allowances:

• Unified Value Nite 20gb: 20gb Night data browsing from 7pm to 7am (N7,500/month)
• Unified Value Nite 40gb: 40gb Night data browsing from 7pm to 7am (N11,000/month)

• Bonus data cannot be rolled over to the next month.

#5. Data Booster Plan

Also known as Top ups, the Spectranet Data Booster plan is divided into 4 tiers with varying price ranges and data allowances. This plan is intended not as a full stand alone plan but to, as the name inclines, “Top up” your existing data.

• Booster 1gb: Valid as far as your original plan is valid (N500)
• Booster 2gb: Valid as far as your original plan is valid (N1,000)
• Booster 5gb: Valid as far as your original plan is valid (N2,500)
• Booster 10gb: Valid as far as your original plan is valid (N4,00)

• Free unlimited night browsing is from 1am to 7am
• Bonus data cannot be rolled over to the next month.

#6. Weekly Plan:

Unlike its predecessors, the Spectranet Weekly plan only has 1 tier which is the:

• Weekly 15gb: 6gb anytime data + 9gb bonus data (N4,000/week)

• Free unlimited night browsing is from 1am to 7am

The most straight forward way I know is to:

1. Head over to their official website
2. Click Data plans
3. Choose which ever suits your budget and needs
4. Click the buy now button (you’ll be redirected to the SelfCare portal
5. Sign in with your UserID and Password and you’re set to go!
